discussion with CRS Officials A training course was organized by SUPARCO for Punjab Forest Department in context of REDD+ technology. It was held at SUPARCO Satellite Research and Development Centre-Lahore (SRDCL) premises during November 23-27, 2015. The topics covered include lectures and hands-on material on use of different geospatial approaches for forest land use mapping and monitoring, and forest density assessment, detecting temporal changes in forests, mapping soil carbon and use of mobile gadgets for field data collection.
