    • SUPARCO released crops estimates for Kharif season 2013-14 in the month of October 2013 and is reflected in the monthly bulletin on web.
    • CRS Punjab will carry out potato crop estimation from 20th November to 20th December 2013.
    • An opinion survey of Central and Southern Punjab regions was carried out by SUPARCO team from 23rd-27th October 2013 to assess the crops situation and seek farmer's opinion about crop situation during the Kharif season 2013
    • SUPARCO is working on rapid crops damage assessment due to floods / rains in different parts of the country to support humanitarian aid process and early relief operations
    • SUPARCO is compiling a report (Pakistan Floods / Rains 2013: Rapid Crop Damage Assessment: Series No. 5. It covers the floods of 2013.
    • The development of the Crop Information Portal is in progress.
    • SUPARCO recently completed the new detailed land cover/ land use database for Punjab and Sindh provinces and has started the new detailed land cover/ land use database for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan provinces
    • Pakistan economic survey 2012-13 has been released by Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan.
    • Mission to Islamabad by expert from USA on Area Frame design and implementation was successfully conducted.
    • FAO and Government of Pakistan sign a technical cooperation project titled: "Vision 2050: Addressing Challenges to the Agriculture Sector in Pakistan".
    • The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) and the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) have launched the "Agricultural Innovation Program" to expand the use of modern technologies in Pakistan's agriculture sector.
